corporate Roblox is really crappy they stopped doing egghunts because events do cost a lot of funds so they did this to keep maximizing profits and they also removed genre filter because they can make more money off of front page horseshit and builders club, I actually miss builders club because it is quite nice to get daily robux but they replaced it with premium because since it gives robux instantly they can make money faster and they are obsessed with sponsorships since they are getting paid big money by companies to advertise their products and the reason why moderation is bad isn’t because of the individual moderators working at Roblox but they use ai as their moderation and does the stupidest shit which is the reason why you get terminated for saying hi and they removed tix because they want more people to buy robux and they got rid of things like: classic maps such as crossroads, chaos canyon and much more they got rid of classic gears they didn’t get rid of it but they just refused to fix them which is why half of them don’t work and rthro which is these realistic human avatars well they are forcing and trying to get people to use them because of the metaverse nonsense I think anytime they will start getting rid of 2010-2018 packages they started to add dynamic faces which are these animated faces and they removed classic faces and they replaced the default avatar with an rthro but brought it back because of a community outrage and they removed guests since guests can’t buy robux they removed them so that more accounts would be made and more people on buy robux they removed user ads so that there would be ads from Lockheed Martin and Toyota I hate the corporate side of Roblox fuck this I might be quitting anytime soon

Minecraft is a similar one for me, the game is still fun, i check in on it every so often. Overtime it became super saturated and it feels so corporatized now, its lost its charm.

Another fairly good game that's still in early stages of development is Wait Until The World Ends. It's a sandbox game where every server lasts 6 hours, and you can craft weapons and vehicles to fight other players. They're releasing a big update at the end of July, definitely worth checking out.

I today found it kind of weird how lots of games on Roblox that have effort mostly never become popular, yet games outside of roblox, like hollow knight, shovel knight, or a lot more games outside of Roblox have more popularity. They also have effort, yet can be more popular that some roblox games that have effort. And lots of these games outside of Roblox don't base their game off of a trend to get popular. My assumptions for why is games outside of Roblox aren't in a platform where they compete to be on the front page, and also how games outside of Roblox are successful based off of the amount of copies sold, which is technically the amount of people who've played you can say, unlike Roblox games which are successful based off the amount of active players playing at once I saw a video talking about how games in and outside of Roblox differ in how they're successful.

If you ya'll want a good underrated game to play I recommend trying "Plane Crazy" it is a sandbox game kind of like build a boat but with more accurate physics if you want building and engineering stuff then this is the game for you. It has a lot of mechanics when it comes to building and it has a cult following throughout the years and they have started updating consistently nowadays compared to the content drought in 2021-2023. I've recently came back to it after being a fan of it since 2020 and it's one of the games that got me hooked on the roblox platform.

I much more miss roblox in 2017, I was playing only tycoons, parkours and watching youtubers who beating parkours. I also had joined to prison life and I saw many hackers there but it still was fun. Then I just left roblox for 4 years and came back with other account which I created in 2021. I forgot username and password of my main account so I couldn't find it and continue with my other account which I created in 2021.

Roblox used to have an identity. A game that was inspired by lego where you join worlds and play games with other characters that look like you. Now it is a game engine with any character in the world which has no restrictions which has 0 identity. I miss when everyone used to look blocky and with a restricted tools, everyone would make games within its theme of roblox.

It used to be cool to have a bunch of items u could get off the store and actually use in game, it fell out of favor pretty quick because a lot of people never bought robux but it was experimental and fun, and they were always trying something new, not just trying to get comfortable.

I'm a newgen roblox player (2020) and i still prefer the older games (literally just Flee the Facility). My recent games are either car games or Flee the Facility.

We don’t like old Roblox because it was necessarily better, we like it because that was when ROBLOX THEMSELVES was better. 2014 Roblox wasn’t known for terrible updates, bots, and scams. It was known for the good company behind it and them helping the community, making good updates, etc. Nowadays, we have sooooo many bad updates that it almost feels like the bad updates are intentionally bad to gain publicity.

I really wanted to experience events like the epic duck April fools joke and the time that Roblox actually did care. But I preferred the new Roblox, but Roblox caring.

I think the old Roblox is better, and not just because of the nostalgia, because they were simpler, which made them fun, now they are all monotonous and almost all of them are about the same thing, the simulators became boring clickers and the tycoons are all the same now. Also, Roblox itself was better before, before it was white and blue, it was more colorful, now the page and the logo are gray and boring. and the worst thing is the community, now they are all emos and equal, playing the same games and all being toxic, and before they were people who were having fun, they could be adults, young people or children, because they all had fun on a platform that Its true purpose was to have fun and not just make money like now.

Imo, the reason for me as to why old roblox was "BETTER" over now is simply interactivity. The company felt like an actual part of the community who would have fun thought out events and contests for the community and give stuff away, Roblox now though is so big they don't NEED to do that and just let whatever slop come in and make money off it. So its less the game and games were "better" and more it felt like a real community driven game.
